Coquitlam city council advanced the bid by Marcon to build a 38-storey tower at the northwest intersection of Como Lake Avenue and Clarke Road.
Marcon hit a major milestone this week with the City of Vancouver approving the development of a 19-storey tower at Alberta St. and W42nd ave. Designed with 215 purpose-built rental homes, this building offers new affordable housing opportunities for Vancouver residents.

There’s a buzz surrounding the 88-unit Semiah residence, taking shape on the crest of White Rock hill. At the sales centre, several more suites have found “homes” with buyers – locals embracing the advantages downsizing provides without leaving their neighbourhood.
With all of Semiah by Marcon’s carefully crafted floor plans, you can enjoy much of what you want from single-family-home living. Appreciate the thought behind side-by-side front-loading LG washer and dryer, a powder room for guests, air conditioning for hot summer days and plenty of outdoor space.
Port Moody is one of the few places in Metro Vancouver that has its own unique personality and feel. The core of Port Moody itself has some vibrant retail and commercial amenities, which will only increase as more exciting housing opportunities – such as George by Marcon – emerge in the area.
A few city councillors, excited homeowners, and Marcon employees helped to formally kick off construction of Semiah by Marcon – a new 14-storey, 88-unit residential building in White Rock on Saturday, May 12th, 2018. The sunshine made celebrating the groundbreaking warm, while the close-by sales centre provided an area for homeowners to meet and greet.
At Semiah by Marcon the exterior and interiors were designed to complement White Rock. Interior design elements subtly hint to the White Rock outdoor assets, such as wood plank flooring that embodies the warm-hued sand and stone so often found on the nearby shoreline. Considering the emphasis on White Rock’s environment, it makes sense that the exterior was designed so that balconies are offset, wide and shallow to maximize natural light for homeowners. Nature influencing design, helping to create beautiful homes in White Rock.
